AI and MCP

AI agents on your ad and store data

In short

An assistant is useful on marketing data only when it can see both sides at once: what an ad cost, and what the customer it acquired went on to be worth. Most ad-data connectors expose the first half. The second half lives in the store, which is why the join has to happen before the model is asked anything.

This cluster is deliberately narrow. There are already several competent MCP servers for ad platforms; none of them can tell you what happened after the click.

Giving an assistant safe, audited access to ad and store data at once.

Common questions

Can Claude read my ad accounts directly?

Through an MCP server, yes — it is a connector protocol, not a data transfer. The account credentials stay where they are and the server decides which calls are permitted.

Should an agent be able to pause campaigns?

Pausing is the safest write there is: reversible, cheap to undo, and the failure mode is spending less than intended. Budget changes and campaign creation are a different risk class and belong behind a human step.

How do I know what the agent did?

Log every tool call with its arguments and result, keyed to the account. If the audit trail is not machine-readable, write access is not something you should be granting.
