Data deletion

Deleting your Meta data

Last updated 2 September 2026

This page explains how to have the data Loyalz holds about your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) connection deleted, and what exactly gets removed.

Three ways to ask

RouteWhereWhat happens
Disconnect in the panel Loyalz → Settings → Integrations Ends our access immediately and removes the stored credentials.
Remove the app on Facebook Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → LoyalZ → Remove Facebook calls our deletion endpoint. We delete the data, and return a confirmation code together with a status page where you can check progress.
Write to us privacy@loyalz.io Same deletion, handled by a person.

Whichever route you take, the deletion is carried out within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything we derived from the Meta connection, not merely the login:

Data from other platforms is left untouched. Deleting the Meta connection does not remove Google Ads, TikTok or store data — those are separate connections with their own deletion route.

Checking a request

A deletion started from Facebook returns a confirmation code. The status page takes that code and tells you whether the request is still running or has been completed.

If you are a customer of a shop that uses Loyalz

Then the shop, not Loyalz, decides what happens to your data — we hold it on its behalf. Address the shop first; we will help it carry the request out, and you may write to privacy@loyalz.io if it does not respond. The privacy notice explains the split.
